About Us

Who are the

Free Bleeders?

Free Bleeders is a non-profit organization based in Atlanta, GA which was founded by Tracye Hamler in 2019 as a resource for advocacy, education, and networking for women:

who have been diagnosed with bleeding disorders, and/or

whose lives are impacted by caring for someone with a bleeding disorder.

Empowerment Initiative

Bleeding disorders affect approximately 1% of women in the United States, many of whom are unaware of their condition. These disorders, such as Von Willebrand Disease (VWD) and Hemophilia, require urgent support and advocacy due to their significant impact on women's health and quality of life.

Our initiative focuses on five key areas to make a meaningful impact in 2025, addressing the unique challenges faced by women with bleeding disorders.
